2050 – Geometric Chess Set with 32 pieces

ALL 32 CHESS PIECES INCLUDED

Angular facets and slim, twisted midsections define the 2050 chess set by GraFabLab. The King and Queen feature differently structured crowns, while the Bishop has an elongated head with a characteristic notch. The geometric horse head of the Knight and the crenellated Rook remain recognizable as familiar chess forms, while the Pawn adopts the design language on a smaller scale. Irregularly structured bases connect all six roles. The complete set complements a minimalist gaming corner just as well as a collection of modern sculptures. The interplay of two chosen finishes makes the many differently aligned surfaces and the coordinated proportions particularly visible.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Figure height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Figure height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size specification indicates the height range within the complete set: Pawns and shorter roles are at the lower end, while the King and other tall figures are at the upper end. All 32 pieces are scaled together proportionally.

The first mentioned color forms one side, the second color the opposite side.

With the printed versions, each army is completely monochromatic. There is no dark patina or subsequently applied shading.

With the hand-painted versions, the pieces are first primed in black and then hand-painted with acrylic paint. The black base intentionally remains visible in recesses and along fine contours; this plastically highlights facet edges, notches, and geometric transitions.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

1 × complete chess piece set of 32 pieces in the chosen size and color version. A chessboard and other decorations shown are not included.

NOTES ON COLOR AND HAND-PAINTING

Each hand-painted set is painted individually. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary. The extent to which the black primer remains visible in recesses and fine contours also differs from set to set. These differences are not a defect, but make each hand-painted set unique.

Monitors and displays may reproduce colors differently. Minor variations in hue and gloss are also possible between individual material batches. Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer exclusively to the color or surface finish; the pieces are not made of precious metal.

Due to small parts that could be swallowed, the set is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics may occur as typical properties of 3D printing.
