Cryptids – thematic chess set with 32 pieces

In "Cryptids", each chess role is interpreted as its own thematic character. The six distinct models create a cohesive ensemble on the board with clearly distinguishable silhouettes.

AT A GLANCE

• Complete chess set with 32 pieces for two sides
• Per side: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 2 rooks, and 8 pawns
• Six different character shapes
• Three sizes and twelve color pairs

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Figure height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Figure height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of the individual pieces varies depending on the role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not painted after production. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are accentuated with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen representation and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color variant. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The cover image is a digital, thematic scene visualization and not a photo of a finished set. Arrangement, scale, number of visible figures, and small details may differ from the scope of delivery. The subsequent color images show the intended six figure shapes digitally based on the 3D models. Print surface and individual painting may vary.
