Roman Gladiators – thematic chess set with 32 pieces

The "Roman Gladiators" chess set translates its theme into six independently designed roles. King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and Pawn together form a clearly recognizable, characterful royal court.

SIZES

• Medium: figure height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: figure height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: figure height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of the individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised shapes are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color appearance.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard and decorations are not included.

The pieces are manufactured from PLA using FDM 3D printing. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface irregularities are part of the process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.
