Roman Legion – thematic chess piece set with 32 pieces

In the "Roman Legion" chess set, playable roles meet narrative figures. The king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, and pawn are each individually designed to form two complete armies.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Figure height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Figure height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The chosen size applies to the entire set. The height of individual figures varies depending on their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not painted afterwards. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, silver, and bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can affect the color appearance.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

The figures are manufactured from PLA using FDM 3D printing. Painted variants receive additional primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface differences are characteristic of the process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.
