Haunted Castle Ghosts – thematic chess piece set with 32 pieces

A crowned spirit in heavy chains leads the court of this haunted castle chess set. The veiled ghost bride, the monk with a lantern, and a horse's head with a flowing mane give each role its own character. Weathered castle walls stand ready as rooks, with a small ghost peering over their battlements; the pawns raise both arms beneath their flowing shrouds. Together, they form a cohesive ensemble of six distinct shapes. The pieces combine the atmosphere of an old haunted castle with the familiar roles of a game of chess. Two armies and the chosen color combination make the set a striking gift for chess fans and ghost enthusiasts alike.

COLORS AND FINISHES

The printed versions are single-colored per side and not painted afterwards. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses, while the raised forms are highlighted with metallic acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, silver, and bronze refer to color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the appearance of the color.
