Bats – thematic chess set with 32 pieces

"Bats" brings an entire thematic world to the chessboard. From the king and queen to the pawns, each role follows its own unique shape, while shared bases and proportions keep the set cohesive.

AT A GLANCE

• Complete chess set with 32 pieces for two sides
• Per side: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 2 rooks, and 8 pawns
• Six distinct piece shapes
• Three sizes and twelve color pairs

SIZES

• Medium: Piece height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Piece height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Piece height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not painted afterwards. Recessed areas have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze denote color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the perceived color.

INCLUDED IN DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard and decorations are not included.
