The Aureate Ivory Empire – Baroque chess set with 32 pieces

The Aureate Ivory Empire brings an ornately decorated court to the chessboard. The King wears a crown and beard, the Queen an adorned crown and wavy hair; the Bishop rises with a tall ceremonial headdress. The Knight is a finely modeled horse's head, the Rook wears a crenelated crown, and the Pawn a smooth sphere. Curved reliefs, long tapered shafts, and opulently decorated round bases give all six roles a unified Baroque silhouette.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. In these versions, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Color application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze denote the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen displays and material batches may influence the perception of color.

The figures are 3D-printed from PLA. Painted variants are additionally given primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

The ivory, gold, and gemstone effects as well as the palace backdrop of the design reference are illustrative. The offered figures are not made of ivory, precious metal, or gemstones, but are 3D-printed from PLA and hand-painted depending on the chosen variant. The reliefs and bases are integral parts of the models.
