The Sculpted Throne – classic chess set with 32 pieces

The Sculpted Throne presents the chess pieces as small sculptures of an ancient royal court. The King and Queen appear as crowned busts with sculptural flowing robes, the Bishop as a ceremonial bust with a tall headdress. The Knight depicts an ornate horse head, the Rook a broken column with a crenellated crown. A textured spherical head distinguishes the Pawn. Smooth tapered shafts and multi-tiered circular bases with circumferential ornamental bands create a calm, classic unity.

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual figures varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the perception of color.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestals, and decorations are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photographs of pre-manufactured items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print texture and individual paintwork may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows twelve examples of the pieces; the complete set of 32 figures is supplied. The white overview shows the six figure shapes individually.

The figures are 3D printed using PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are part of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

Stone-like surfaces, ruins backdrop, and chessboard in the design reference are purely illustrative. The figures offered are not made of stone or marble. They are 3D printed using PLA; busts, robes, column breaks, ornamental bands, and bases are integral model components.
