Monarch Noir – faceted chess set with 32 pieces

Monarch Noir combines familiar chess silhouettes with a modern, faceted surface. The King wears a wide polygonal crown with a cross, the Queen an open, fan-shaped crown with a sphere. The Bishop features a compact miter, the Knight an angularly modeled horse profile, and the Rook a classic turreted crown. The Pawn also takes up the geometric design with its faceted ball head. Multi-level round bases and diagonally cut surfaces give the complete court a calm, representative effect.

SIZES

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of the individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND SURFACES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. In these, the black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver and Bronze denote the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard, pedestals and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of already manufactured specimens. They show the intended shapes and color versions. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows twelve role examples; the full set of 32 pieces is delivered. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually.

The pieces are 3D-printed from PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface features are part of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

Cross, crown tips, sphere, miter and turrets are integral parts of the respective model shape. The faceted surfaces are part of the design; no gemstones or separate decorative elements are used.
