Stone – minimalist low-poly chess piece set with 32 pieces

Stone translates the six chess roles into a calm, sculptural design language of angular surfaces and sharply defined folds. The king wears a tall geometric crown, the queen a fanning crystal crown. The bishop is characterized by a small diamond tip and an incised shaft, the knight by a reduced horse profile. The rook ends in a clear battlement crown, while the pawn is designed as a compact, twisted faceted body. The asymmetrical edges run throughout the set, giving it great depth despite the reduced silhouette.

SIZES

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies depending on the role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: gold / silver, gold / black, gold / white, gold / bronze, silver / black, silver / white, silver / bronze, black / white, black / bronze and white / bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: silver / gold and silver / bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are emphasized with metallic-looking acrylic paint. Color application, shading and gloss may vary.

Gold, silver and bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence color perception.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard, pedestals and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color versions. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows twelve role examples; the full set of 32 pieces will be delivered. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually.

The pieces are made from PLA using 3D printing. Painted variants also receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface features are characteristic of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

"Stone" refers to the name and the stone-like, reduced design language. The pieces are not made of stone, but are 3D-printed from PLA; crowns, tips, battlements and folded edges are integral parts of the model.
