Cyborg Ascendancy – Futuristic Chess Set with 32 Pieces

Cyborg Ascendancy reimagines the game of chess as a synthetic royal court. The King appears as a broadly armored cyborg with a cross-crown, the Queen as a slender machine ruler with a leaf-shaped crown. The Bishop wears a pointed helmet over a round chest module, the Knight features a segmented robotic horse head, the Rook combines a massive technical shaft with an open crenellated crown, and the Pawn wears a smooth oval helmet. Armor plating, joints, conduit reliefs, and tall circular bases connect all roles.

SIZES

The selected size applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are emphasized with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen displays and material batches may influence the perception of color.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestals, and decorations are not included.

The print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows 12 role examples on two presentation levels; the complete 32-piece set is supplied. The pieces are 3D-printed using PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are part of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

Crowns, helmets, armor plating, chest modules, conduit reliefs, and battlements are integral parts of the respective model design; there are no moving or illuminated parts.
