Organica – Sculptural Chess Set with 32 Pieces

Organica transforms every chess piece into a flowing sculptural object. The king grows in a tall, wave-like form into a clear cross, the queen wears a closed floral crown. The bishop ends in a smooth bud with a curved notch, the knight connects an elegant horse head with a long, flowing mane, the rook opens its battlements over organic cut-outs, and the pawn places a sphere into a leaf-like collar. Spiral grooves and calm, rounded bases connect the entire set.

SIZES

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the perception of color.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestals, and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of pre-manufactured specimens. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The title image shows 12 example pieces on two presentation levels; the complete 32-piece set is delivered. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually.

The pieces are produced via 3D printing from PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

Cross, floral crown, bud, mane, battlements, organic cut-outs, and ball head are fixed components of the respective model shape; they are not moving parts.
