VOID Protocol – Futuristic low-poly chess piece set with 32 pieces

VOID Protocol translates the classic chess order into a reduced, futuristic design language. The King bears a distinctive cross above its faceted head, the Queen a tall, arrow-shaped crown with a V-shaped visor. The Bishop ends in a closed crystalline point, the Knight displays an angularly folded horse head, the Rook combines an open crenellated crown with slanted panel lines, and the Pawn places a clear sphere on a polygonal body. Hard surfaces, stepped bases, and precise silhouettes connect all roles.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are accentuated with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze denote the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence color perception.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the chosen size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestals, and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surfaces and individual painting may deviate from the appearance shown. The cover image shows 12 example roles on two presentation levels; the full 32-piece set is delivered. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually.

Made in Germany

The pieces are 3D printed using PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

Crosses, crown points, visors, battlements, panel lines, and spherical heads are integral parts of the respective model shape; there are no moving or illuminated parts.
