Comic Clash – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Comic Clash sends six delightfully irate characters onto the chessboard. The bearded king bellows beneath his mighty cross crown, the queen sports wavy hair and a pearl crown, while the bishop, rook, and pawn respond with grim expressions and open mouths. An expressive horse head with a flowing mane takes on the role of the knight. Round bases, long robes, and exaggerated faces unite the figures into a humorously cantankerous ensemble.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised shapes are accentuated with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence color perception.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may deviate from the appearance shown. The white overview shows the six figure shapes individually. The cover image shows twelve role examples – six silver ones at the top and six gold ones at the bottom – on two pedestal steps; the complete set of 32 figures is supplied.

The figures are 3D-printed from PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

The depicted eyes, mouths, crowns, and decorative elements are fixed parts of the respective model shape; there are no moving or illuminated parts.
