Carbon Ascendancy – Chess set with 32 pieces

Carbon Ascendancy combines sleek chess silhouettes with sharply folded surfaces. Leaf-like crowns, a faceted king's cross, and sweeping horse necks define the set; the angular, segmented round bases reflect the geometric design.

SIZES

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are accentuated with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application, shading, and sheen may vary.

Gold, silver, and bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestal, and decoration are not included.

ABOUT THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The title image shows twelve examples of roles: one each of king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, and pawn in silver and gold. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually. The complete set of 32 pieces is delivered.

The pieces are 3D-printed from PLA. Painted variants receive additional primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface features are characteristic of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

“Carbon Ascendancy” is the model name. The pieces are made of PLA, not carbon fiber; no carbon fabric texture is applied. Metallic-effect colors do not consist of metal.
