SkullSet – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Skulls with delicate rows of teeth, curved rib reliefs, and striking skeletal horses define the SkullSet. Crowned busts, slender skull pawns, and richly textured rooks combine the six chess roles into a dark series of figures.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual figures varies depending on the role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochrome per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised shapes are accented with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess figures in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestal, and decoration are not included.

ABOUT THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. The print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows twelve example roles: one each of king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, and pawn in silver and gold. The white overview shows the six figure shapes individually. The complete set of 32 figures will be delivered.

The figures are 3D-printed from PLA. Painted variants receive an additional primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface features are characteristic of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

Skulls, ribs, and technical ornaments are decorative model forms made of PLA. The figures are made of neither bone nor metal.
