Circuit Royale – Chess set with 32 pieces

Circuit Royale features clear contours and flowing forms. Smooth visor helmets, a three-pronged queen's crown, and the small cross topper on the king make the roles distinguishable. Particularly striking are the open, twisted rooks and the pierced body of the king. The knights pick up these lines with curved horse necks and a broad, layered mane; compact robot pawns complete the futuristic ensemble.

SIZES

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. In these, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, pedestal, and decorations are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of already manufactured items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The cover image shows twelve examples of roles: one each of king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, and pawn in silver and gold. The white overview shows the six piece shapes individually. The complete set of 32 pieces will be delivered.

The pieces are produced using 3D-printed PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface features are part of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

The visor lines and recesses are design elements made of PLA. The pieces contain no LEDs, electronics, or lighting functions; the open forms remain a component of the design.
