Norse Mythology – 32-piece chess set

Norse Mythology places Norse-inspired fantasy figures on round bases. The king wears a horned helmet, a spear, and a heavy cloak; the queen features a winged headpiece and a bird on her staff. The cloaked bishop holds an open book. A knight shaped like a horse with a round shield, a rook crowned by a dragon’s head, and armored pawns with fur collars continue the theme. Rune-like symbols and finely articulated garments give each piece its own character.

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual figures varies depending on the piece.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color combinations: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not painted after production. Recessed areas have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color combinations: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. In these, the black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the appearance of the colors.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard, display stand, and decorations are not included.

ABOUT THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photographs of pre-manufactured items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. The print surface and individual painting may deviate from the displayed appearance. The white overview shows the six figure designs individually.

The figures are 3D printed from PLA. Painted versions additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

Armor, fur collars, and garments are modeled in PLA. The design is inspired by Norse fantasy and is not a historical reconstruction.
