Alien Genesis – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Alien Genesis combines classic chess roles with alien, biomechanical forms. Skull-like faces, ribbed bodies, and elongated reliefs characterize the set. The King and Queen wear large, arched crowns; the Bishop remains distinguishable by its slender point. The Knight is represented by a curved creature's head with an open mouth. The Rook features a jagged top, while the Pawns resemble small heads in fanned-out casings. Wide, circular bases unify the organic shapes.

SIZES

• Medium: Piece height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Piece height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Piece height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of the individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Application of color, shading, and sheen may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches can influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE IMAGES

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended shapes and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may deviate from the appearance shown. The white overview shows the six piece designs individually.

The pieces are 3D printed from PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are typical of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

The biomechanical structures are fixed, modeled details. The pieces are made of PLA and do not contain any moving mechanisms.
