Deepwood – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Deepwood populates the chessboard with highly detailed forest figures. A crowned owl takes on the role of the King, a wolf in a cloak the Queen. They are joined by a mysterious hooded figure as the Bishop, a richly decorated knight’s horse, and a powerful bear as the Rook. Upright cobras form the row of Pawns. Feathers, fur, scales, and root-like bases give each piece its own character while uniting them into a fairytale set.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of the individual figures varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. Here, the black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are emphasized with metallic acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence color perception.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the chosen size and color finish. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

REGARDING THE ILLUSTRATIONS

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of finished items. They show the intended forms and color finishes. Print surface and individual painting may differ from the appearance shown. The white overview shows the six figure designs individually.

The figures are 3D-printed using PLA. Painted variants are additionally given a primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are inherent to this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.

Eyes and ornaments are modeled details without lighting. No real gemstones are used.
