Medieval – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Medieval relies on clear, compact figures with the character of carved chess pieces. King and Queen wear crowns and long robes; their faces are worked out in a few distinctive planes. The Bishop holds a narrow blade and wears a mitre, while the Rook is designed as a guardian with a battlement crown. An angular horse head takes on the role of the Knight, small helmeted figures form the Pawns. Round, graduated bases unify the set into a calm, medieval-inspired overall appearance.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Figure height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Figure height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size selection applies to the entire set. The height of the individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and are not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are emphasized with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence color perception.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color version. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS

The product images are digital visualizations based on the model files, not photos of already manufactured pieces. They show the intended shapes and color versions. Print surface and individual paintwork may deviate from the appearance shown. The white overview shows the six figure shapes individually.

The figures are manufactured from PLA using 3D printing. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are part of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.

The carving-like design is part of the concept. The figures are made of PLA, not wood.
