Black Metal Line – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Black Metal Line turns classic chess pieces into an ensemble of sharp edges and elongated facets. The tall crowns of the King and Queen, the slim Bishop, and the clear battlements of the Rook appear like small structures. In between, the geometrically crafted horse head of the Knight sets a striking accent. The Pawn features a faceted, crystal-like head; wide, polygonal bases connect all six piece shapes. The smooth surfaces make single-color versions appear particularly clear. With dark metal paint, the raised edges stand out more strongly, emphasizing the architectural character of the set.

SIZES

• Medium: piece height approx. 5–7 cm

The size selection applies to the complete set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and not subsequently painted. Depressions have the same material color as the rest of the piece; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the depressions; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Color application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze denote the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence the color impression.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

The pieces are 3D-printed using PLA. Painted variants additionally receive primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are typical of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may be swallowed.
