Royal Mech – Chess piece set with 32 pieces

Royal Mech translates classic chess pieces into a royal machine world. Closed helmets, angular shoulder shapes, and circular joints give the King, Queen, and Bishops the character of armored guards. The Knight features a mechanical horse head, while the Rook retains its familiar crenellated crown. Spherical Pawns and stepped round bases unify the different roles into a cohesive ensemble. Particularly appealing is the contrast between slender, smooth surfaces and intricately detailed contours: in a single color, the pieces appear calm and clear; with dark metallic painting, edges and recesses stand out more prominently.

SIZES

• Medium: Figure height approx. 5–7 cm

The chosen size applies to the entire set. The height of individual pieces varies according to their role.

COLORS AND FINISHES

Printed color pairs: Gold / Silver, Gold / Black, Gold / White, Gold / Bronze, Silver / Black, Silver / White, Silver / Bronze, Black / White, Black / Bronze, and White / Bronze.

The printed versions are monochromatic per side and not subsequently painted. Recesses have the same material color as the rest of the figure; no dark patina is applied.

Hand-painted color pairs: Silver / Gold and Silver / Bronze. The black primer remains visible in the recesses; the raised forms are highlighted with metallic-effect acrylic paint. Paint application, shading, and gloss may vary.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer to the color or finish, not the material. The first color belongs to one side, the second to the opposing side. Screen display and material batches may influence color perception.

INCLUDED IN DELIVERY

A complete set of 32 chess pieces in the selected size and color finish. Chessboard and decoration are not included.

The pieces are produced using 3D-printed PLA. Painted variants receive an additional primer and acrylic paint. Fine layer lines and small surface characteristics are typical of this manufacturing process. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that could be swallowed.
