Philosopher chess set – complete 32-piece set

ALL 32 CHESS PIECES ARE INCLUDED

This expressive set interprets classic chess roles as ancient philosophers, scholars, and architectural figures. Robes, scrolls, lamps, horsemen, and column-like rooks give each piece a clearly recognizable silhouette.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

• Complete set of 32 chess pieces
• Per side: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 2 rooks, and 8 pawns
• All 32 pieces in the selected size and color pair
• The chessboard and other decorations shown are not included

The product images show each of the six roles once in both chosen colors for a clear comparison. A complete 32-piece set is delivered.

SIZES

• Medium: Piece height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Piece height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Piece height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size specification indicates the height range within the complete set: pawns and lower-ranking pieces are at the lower end, while the king and other tall pieces are at the upper end. All 32 pieces are scaled together and proportionally.

COLOR PAIRS & FINISHES

The first color mentioned forms one side, the second color the opposing side.

Printed: Gold/Silver, Gold/Black, Gold/White, Gold/Bronze, Silver/Black, Silver/White, Silver/Bronze, Black/White, Black/Bronze, or White/Bronze. Each army is completely solid-colored, without a dark patina.

Hand-painted: Silver/Gold or Silver/Bronze. Metallic accents are applied over a black primer; the black base remains intentionally visible in recesses and fine contours.

NOTES ON COLOR AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each hand-painted set is finished individually. Application of color, shading, gloss, and visible primer may therefore differ slightly from the product images, making each set unique. Monitors may display colors differently. Gold, Silver, and Bronze refer exclusively to the color or surface finish; the pieces are not made of precious metal. Due to small parts that could be swallowed, the set is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
