This complete chess piece set brings two opposing magical worlds together on the board. On the light side, students, teachers, and their allies with strong personalities face off against dark sorceresses, wizards, and mysterious antagonists. Each army features six distinctive character designs, each with its own silhouette, props, and chess symbols on the base. This ensures that the King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and Pawn are instantly distinguishable. These detailed pieces are suitable for playing or as a cohesive fantasy ensemble for a collection. The set was created in the style of Harry Potter and independently manufactured by FehnFactory.

SIZES

• Medium: Piece height approx. 5–7 cm
• Large: Piece height approx. 6–9 cm
• XLarge: Piece height approx. 7.5–11 cm

The size specification indicates the height range within the complete set: pawns and shorter characters are at the lower end, while kings and other tall figures are at the upper end. All 32 pieces are scaled proportionally together.

COLOR PAIRS & FINISHES

• Silver / Gold – hand-painted: one army in metallic silver, the other in warm yellow gold; accents over a black primer
• Black / White – printed: one army entirely black, the other entirely white
• Silver / Gold – printed: one army entirely in silver silk, the other entirely in warm gold silk

In the hand-painted version, the black primer deliberately remains visible in faces, folds of clothing, hair, props, ornaments, and base indentations. This makes the sculpted details stand out three-dimensionally. The printed versions are solid in color throughout and do not have a dark patina.

NOTES ON COLOR AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each hand-painted set is finished individually by hand. Paint application, shading, gloss, visible black primer, and small details may therefore differ from the product images. These differences are not flaws, but rather make every hand-painted set unique.

For the printed versions, monitors and displays may render colors differently. Slight variations in hue and gloss are also possible between filament batches. Gold and silver refer exclusively to the color or surface finish; the figures are not made of precious metal.

Fine layer lines and small surface features may occur due to the manufacturing process. Due to small parts that could be swallowed, the set is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
