Forest Animal Chess – 32 hand-painted pieces

In this game of chess, the forest takes command: elk lead as kings, deer stand as queens by their side, owls occupy the bishops, wolves move as knights, bears form the rooks, and boars advance as pawns. Each animal species has a clearly recognizable silhouette, making it easy to distinguish the roles on your board. FehnFactory hand-paints each of the 32 PLA base bodies. Three color pairs give the two complete animal armies the choice of a classic black-and-white contrast or expressive gold, silver, and copper finishes.

NOTE ON COLOR, SIZE, AND 3D PRINTING

The size ranges describe the approximate height from the boar pawn to the elk king. The base bodies are manufactured using the 3D printing process with PLA and are subsequently hand-painted by FehnFactory. Gold, silver, and copper refer to the applied paint finish; the figures are not made of these metals and are not made of resin. Fine layer lines, minor surface differences, as well as slight variations in brushwork, color shade, or finish make every hand-painted set unique. Colors and details may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
