THE HALLOWEEN CHESS SET – A DUEL OF DARKNESS

Two sinister armies face each other: gold vs. silver, on a massive black board whose frame is guarded by skulls and gnarled branches. Each individual piece is a small sculpture – detailed, dark, and hand-finished.

THE PIECES (32 pieces, complete)

• King – undead ruler with crown and skull scepter
• Queen – dark queen in a thorn-trimmed gown
• Bishop – witch with pointed hat and scarecrow face
• Knight – ominous raven with wings spread
• Rook – haunted castle with towers and battlements
• Pawns – ghosts clutching a grinning pumpkin

Each piece stands on a base of piled skulls. The squares feature raised reliefs – roses, bats, skulls, and bones – partly hand-finished with golden accents. The four corners of the board are adorned with large skull sculptures.

TWO SIZES

• 20 inches: board approx. 50 × 50 cm, square size approx. 5 × 5 cm, king height approx. 11 cm
• 14 inches: board approx. 35.5 × 35.5 cm, square size approx. 3.5 × 3.5 cm, king height approx. 8 cm
